Once Taobao identifies the sellers offering the product you’re interested in, I recommend checking this small indicator located next to the price:
This number represents the total transactions completed for the product. While it doesn’t directly indicate the quality of the item, it can be a helpful reference. Generally, more transactions mean more reviews, giving you the opportunity to see photos and feedback from other buyers before making your decision.
When you click on a product, you’ll find this tab below the price and the option to add the item to your basket:
Here, you can view reviews from customers who have already purchased the item. Many of these reviews include satisfaction ratings and photos of the actual product received. For example, 389 reviews for this item suggest there’s plenty of feedback to help you evaluate the product.
If you’re satisfied with the reviews and photos, follow the criteria mentioned above to choose your preferred item and proceed with your purchase.
